Description of Casa Rural La Perla
Our rural house is located in Hiendalaencia, a municipality of just 120 inhabitants located in the northern part of the province of Guadalajara.
It is a perfect destination to rest without going too far from the city, since we are only 64 km from Guadalajara and an hour and a half from Madrid.
Aware of the importance of taking care of the environment, both in the rooms and in the rest of the house, we useecological products that minimize the negative impact on the environment and on health.
The house consists of two buildings: in the main one, made of stones, there are the6 rooms, distributed between the first and second floors:
- The rooms on the first floor are matrimonial, one of them having a terrace overlooking the garden.
- The rooms on the second floor are attic, with 2 of them having a double bed, and the other 2 with single beds.
Our rooms are decorated with romantic and elegant details, generating a warm atmosphere that will make you relax as soon as you enter.
In the second building of modern construction (2019) there is a large 25m2 room with kitchen, living/dining room. It is separated from the rest area by the garden and is located next to the pool.
In the common areas, you can use:
- Reading room. It is a room designed for gatherings or reading, as it has a library with books for all tastes, and a fireplace to accompany you on the coolest days of the year.
- Interior garden. Outside, you will find garden spaces full of vegetation, with sun loungers and furniture for relaxing.
- 8x4 summer pool, heated with solarium area with sun loungers. It is completely fenced.
We have an eco-friendly attitude throughout the house: LED light bulbs, starch bags, recycling and composting, ecological garden, solar panels for hot water production, photovoltaic plant for electricity production and charging point for electric vehicles.
We offer breakfast and dinner services with homemade products, from the garden of km 0.

About Isabelle Bancheraud, Owner of Casa Rural La Perla
I am Isabelle, her host in La Perla.
I wanted to provide my rural house with a lot of personality and I have decorated and equipped bringing furniture and objects from my French family to give this "French" Touch so pleasant.
Very aware with climate change and circular economy we have gradually transforming this accommodation into a sustainable rural house with photovoltaic plant, solar water, recycling and composting, use of local products of KM0, efficient water and electricity management, recharge point for electric vehicles.
My family and I live in the house, in a private part and do not interfere in the life of our guests but we are at your disposal for any questions or advice and keep the green spaces and the pool in summer.
The house is designed to be a haven of peace. Comfort is guaranteed as well as tranquility and rest with soft textures and colors and quality materials with organic products and the area.
We live in a unique environment. A town of 60 inhabitants (but with doctor, bakery, pharmacy, bar and restaurant) of rich and famous mining past (silver mines).
We are also in the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara Natural Park where we have very beautiful medieval villages (Atienza, Sigüenza...), others of slate (black architecture), Romanesque churches, swamps where one can bathe, hiking routes, bike walks (free bike at home), the best roasted kid in the area and some fantastic wineries.
And at home we offer, in addition to breakfast and dinners, massages, tourist information, entrance management....
Our town, Hondelencina, houses the richest and most famous silver mines in Spain in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries: now you can visit a museum dedicated to this activity, see mines remains, walk through the mines...
We are in a strategic place:
20 min to the north: the medieval village of Atienza, where the Romanesque route also starts
20 min to the south: the Villa de Cogolludo with a Renaissance Ducal Palace (Time of the Catholic Monarchs) and a wineries that make a specific wine
45 min to the west: Valverde de los Arroyos and the Black Architecture Route
45 min to the east: Sigüenza Historical and gastronomic (2 restaurants with 1 Michelin star)
At 10 min we have a swamp and fishing places without death.
