Casa Rural La Curva

The rural house is located in Ávila, in the town of Barajas. This house has 2 floors, the owners live on the upper floor and rent the ground floor to a total of 3 people who can enjoy rooms such as:

• A living room that consists of a large wooden table around which chairs and a bench are distributed. Above this bench there are several windows that will be responsible for providing the necessary light. A large wooden piece of furniture acts as a kitchenware distributor, being very functional as well as decorative. In the living room area there is a television, a sofa bed and also a table made with natural wood, providing that touch of rusticity that is supported by the wood-burning fireplace in the corner of this space.  The owners give away the first load of firewood.

• A kitchen in which no appliance is missing:washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher... It is a simple but very complete area, supported by a low work space to place utensils.

• A double bedroom with a large double bed, with a built-in headboard and 2 small bedside lamps. To store clothes, there is a built-in wardrobe and an old trunk at the foot of the bed. We also offer the possibility of incorporating an extra bed at a cost per person/night.

• A complete bathroom with a window and a large, well-lit mirror and shower tray.

In theoutdoor area of this rural accommodation, guests can enjoy agarden and its respective furniture.

There is also a large stone table as well as the barbecue for having meals in company outdoors.

Due to the owners' preference, we do not admit animals.

The Avila town of Barajas is located in Navarredonda de Gredos. The views from this Castilian area open to the Sierra de Gredos, making it possible to appreciate the Pico Almanzor, the highest point in this place, accessible by hiking and mountaineering paths and routes.

Contact with nature in this geographical area is assured, so retreat and disconnection are feasible.

If you go to the center of Ávila, the cultural offer is wide. The areas with the greatest attendance are the 2 typical squares: the Big and the Chica, around which the bars are distributed where the gastronomic culture is evident in their dishes.

If you go there, you cannot miss their specialty in meats such asthe ribeye, the revolconas potatoes or the Castilian soup.

A trip with history from which, without a doubt, you will return with a full stomach.
