Aranguren is a Navarran town of 8982 inhabitants located in the Sangüesa neighborhood that is characterized by having the ruins of the castle of Irulegui, demolished in 1494. Since 2007 they have carried out different excavation tasks that have allowed to unearth great part of the original structure.
Close to this town is Sangüesa, which is declared of Cultural Interest and is the Camino de Santiago. In this village you can see the Clock Tower Museum located in the convent of San Francisco, Gothic style. The pieces that it gathers are clockworks built between the XVIII and XX centuries that were placed in church towers or in town halls.
