Casa Rural El Granero

This old Andalusian farmhouse that today has been converted into a rural accommodation that is located in the municipality of Monachil, in the center of the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada. It has more than 100 years of history, since it was built in 1911, but has been remodeled several times to adapt to the new customs, but keeping its Andalusian style.

It is a small rural house on a single floor where can stay between 3 and 5 people.

It has the following interior spaces:

• Room with light blue walls and three single beds.
• Bathroom that has set of towels and has shower.
• Living room with wooden dining table and cupboard.
• Kitchen with small and large appliances, in addition to ceramic hob, microwave and other utensils.

But if you need more space, we put at your disposal the other house that forms the complex Casadelaida, called Casa El Cortijo. This is much wider, has space for 11 people, and is attached to El Granero, which communicate easily with each other.

In the outdoor common areas you can enjoy numerous terraces decorated with flowers and where the pottery has a great presence, of a pool of 10 meters long by 4 m wide, next to a solarium, of a orchard of more of 3,000 square meters and a space equipped with two barbecues.

All the water that comes to the house comes from the Sierra Nevada and it is potable.

Likewise, the heating system and other energies of the house are produced through biomass, to respect the environment as much as possible.

La cottage has enough outdoor space in which perderse y enjoy typical Andalusian décor, its trees and environment natural.

But Monachil tamibén is located near many other landmarks, such as La Alhambra of located in Granada (30 min drive) and one of the most visited monuments in Spain receives.

It is part of the National Park of Sierra Nevada, where you can also find the famous ski resort, 23 kilometers away.
