Casa rural de la Franja

The Rural House is located in the Huesca municipality of Tamarite de Litera in the so-called Aragon Strip, named after the Catalan-speaking territories of Aragon.

Located in the Litera region, it is a house with a swimming pool, farm and a corral.
This rural accommodation has been restored respecting the adobe and wood materials characteristic of traditional architecture, thus forming a space of tradition and comfort for all our visitors.

This rural house has 3 rooms with a special feature: the full bathroom is private for each room.

The house is divided into two floors, differentiating the lower floor with kitchen and living room and the upper floor with three double attic rooms – one room with a double bed and two double rooms. The rooms also have heating and air conditioning, to regulate the temperature as desired and as we said, all of them have a complete en-suite bathroom.

In addition, the bedrooms have exposed wooden beams with simple decoration.

The living room is very cozy with a clay tile floor and a small brick fireplace for when the cold weather hits. You also have two months for a total of 6 people. Adjacent to the living room is the fully equipped kitchen with armchairs and a stretcher table and decorated with traditional utensils.

The kitchen is made of wood so it feels very rustic, in keeping with the rest of the house. If you need it during your stay, you can use a microwave or oven.

The outside area

• As the accommodation is located on a farm, we have a farm and a corral, perfect for children to entertain themselves. We have lambs, chickens, ducks and calves among others.
• Swing area for more fun for the little ones.
• Additionally, on the property we have a garden with fruit trees, an orchard that you can participate in, and a swimming pool with everything you need (sunbeds, umbrellas).
• The garden is completed with a ping pong table, a barbecue and an area to play petanque.

The house is located nearby on the road that leads to Tamarite de Litera, which is a town in the pre-Pyrenees at the foot of the Sierra de la Chesa, declared a Site of Community Interest.

In this town we can visit:

• The church of Santa Maria La Mayor, a 13th century parish
• The town, in general, is of medieval origin, so we can enjoy taking a walk through the streets.
• On the outskirts the archaeological site Els Castellanos, which is Ibero-Roman, where coins were found.
• The wonderful views of the Castle of the Moors.
