Description of Casa Rural Artena
This rural house is located in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees in the town of Villanovilla, belonging to Huesca.
It is a charming stone house with wooden doors and windows.
It has space to accommodate a maximum of 7 people.
On the ground floor of the house we have a fairly spacious living room with a large window and a rest area with a sofa and 2 armchairs where you can relax watching television or enjoying the heat of the stone fireplace that presides over the room.
The decoration is rustic with traditional elements and creates a very cozy atmosphere.
This floor also has another level where there is a living room with a lot of charm decorated with furniture and wooden details where there is a large table to enjoy family meals. This space is very bright, with large windows and a glass door with access to the patio area.
The kitchen is connected to the living room and has a complete set of appliances of all types and sizes, so that any dish can be prepared without problems, and also, all the kitchenware necessary for a truly comfortable stay.
On the upper floor there are the rooms that are distributed so that there is one with a double bed, another single bed and a room in the attic with 4 single beds.
It also has 2 bathrooms, one complete with a shower and the other, which functions as a toilet, with all the basic and necessary elements in this area, creating a common functional space.
The exterior part of the house is a patio with views of the mountains with a large stone barbecue where we can have barbecues as it also has a large wooden table so that guests can enjoy a delicious meal outdoors.

Alfonso Artigas, owner of the Rural House is a lover of mountain hiking and mycology, which practices in the valleys of the Aragonese Pyrenees.

The house is located in the only inhabited town of the Garcipollera Valley, which is an exceptional place and national hunting reserve.
Lo que se respira en la casa es paz y naturaleza. La casa tiene vistas al valle y al río que lo atraviesa.
Es una casa con zonas de estar muy amplias, tanto el comedor como el salón de estar con su chimenea. El jardín de la casa y su barbacoa, le dan a la casa un especial encanto y privacidad.

Estamos a 11 km de Jaca o de Canfranc Estación y a 30 km de Francia.
En el mismo valle está la ermita románica de Ntra. Sra. de Iguácel
Próximos tenemos el Monasterio de San Juan de la Peña y el Monasterio de San Pedro de Siresa que están en el origen del Reino de Aragón.

For nature lovers and animals it is an ideal enclave since near the town there is a reserve where you can find species that are difficult to see in other places in Spain.
On the other hand, it is worth walking through its streets and visiting places of interest in the surrounding area such as the hermitage of Santa María de Iguacel, a Romanesque-style construction that dates back to the 11th century.
We can also visit various remains of a Cisrstencian monastery in the area.
