Casa rural 1904

It is a charming rural house located in the center of the town of Tubilla del Lago. Built in 1904, it was completed remodeled in 2010. 3 floors and mixing modern materials with rustic elements from before the renovation, such as stone or ceiling beams, this century-old rural house is a perfect place for a getaway to Burgos lands for a group or family of 10 people.

The lower part of the house is made up of different rooms. A living room with a wood-burning fireplace that we leave at the customer's disposal, 2 coffee table sofas, plasma television, Wii and Wi-Fi throughout the house. In it there is a main wooden column and beams of the same material. The dining room is located on the opposite side and is occupied by a wooden table with space for 8 people. 

On that same floor is the kitchen, completely remodeled and has the best amenities: oven with gas stove, hood, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. The house is provided with 3 bathrooms and one of them, a small attic toilet, is located under the stairs on the ground floor. 

The first floor has 3 double bedrooms, one single and 2 bathrooms. In some rooms, during the renovation, the stone was removed from the wall, so in them materials such as stucco and plaster are combined with stone. The first double room is painted with a warm yellow, the second with a lilac color and the third with blue and white tones and decorated with 2 poppies. The 3 rooms have their corresponding bedding and nightstands. 

One of the bathrooms has 2 joint sinks, a large mirror and a shower with a screen. The old wooden beams are preserved on the ceiling. The other is a smaller bathroom but also has a shower and sink. 

On the third floor there is an open-plan loft with a sloping wooden ceiling and has 2 single beds with a television. 

One of the elements that characterize the rural house is the mural that is painted on the wall of one of the rooms. This mural contains a philosophical message.

One of the best places to visit near Burgos is, without a doubt, the Sierra de Atapuerca, where one of the primary archaeological sites worldwide is located

The Roman Villa of Santa Cruz in Baños de Valdearados is located just over 6 kilometers from Tubilla del Lago and you can visit the remains of the water supply network that was distributed during the 5th century.

La Yecla is a hidden gorge pierced in the Peñas de Cervera and is made up of a series of hanging bridges to cross the gorge.
