Casa Rural La Botería

You can find this rural house in the Burgos town of Sala de los Infantes. Completely renovated, it has a capacity for 13 people and a multitude of rooms. 

Made of stone, it retains its original structure but with a remodeled interior, new furniture in the rooms and bathrooms and very modern decoration. Therefore, its façade and some of its stone walls and wooden beams contrast with its new rooms designed for current comfort. 

It consists of 6 rooms, of which 4 are doubles, 1 triple and 1 double plus 1 sofa bed. In addition to 5 bathrooms with showers, some of them equipped with a vertical hydromassage structure, and 1 toilet. So all rooms will be able to have their own personal bathroom.

It is structured in 3 floors, with most of the rooms on the 2 upper floors and the common rooms on the ground floor. In addition, the bedrooms that are on the second floor and face the outside have a small balcony. While those on the top floor have attics. 

Some of these bedrooms are adapted for people with disabilities. 

On the first floor, next to the entrance, are the living room, dining room and kitchen, all in the same space without walls so that large groups staying in this rural accommodation have greater comfort in the shared spaces.

This triple area of the house is where its rural style has been most preserved. Here the walls are mostly made of stone, you can see some wooden walls and the furniture is some of the oldest in the home. The kitchen is not very large, but it has all the appliances and supplies necessary for the use of 14 people. 

The entire accommodation is equipped with heating. Pets are allowed. And if necessary we have cribs available. 

In addition, it has an area to park vehicles outside. 

Salas de los Infantes is the capital of the Sierra de la Demanda, and therefore it is the heart of the region, with great activity and a multitude of shops and services. 

It is located on the banks of the Arlanza River.

One of its biggest attractions is the Dinosaur Museum, an area dedicated to paleontology and whose main goal is the analysis of dinosaurs, so that important international conferences are held there that deal with the paleontology of these giant fossil reptiles. As well as preserves numerous remains of other animals and plants. 

It is also very rich in ecclesiastical structures, it has two hermitages dedicated to San Isidro and San Roque, and two churches in honor of Santa María and Santa Cecilia. 

It is 56 kilometers from Burgos.
