Description of Casa Martinberika Etxea
Our rural house is located in the Sakana Valley, specifically in the area of Arakíl, in Navarra.
It is an accommodation in perfect condition that has all the necessary services for a perfect stay.
Distributed in 3 floors, in each of them we will find a very urban decoration in a rural style that combines perfectly with the environment that surrounds us.

Outside the house there is a nice patio with a small table and chairs. This will allow you to breathe while you enjoy an aperitif, a while reading and it is clear that you also have to savor a barbecue thanks to the one we have here.

- A large kitchen that is completely made of wood. The furniture it has, matches the table which is rectangular and large. It has latest generation appliances perfect for preparing your meals.
- The living room is quite complete, in addition to several sofas, we have a cabinet with the TV and a beautiful fireplace which is the strong point of the house, especially for cold people.
- A bathroom complete with shower and all the necessary services. Very useful to avoid having to climb to the upper floors.
On the first floor you will find 4 bedrooms:
- Each of them painted a different color, this gives different personalities to each of them. There are bedrooms with a bed of double and others with 2 single beds. Always well furnished with side tables and wardrobes to store all your clothes, the beds come with sets of sheets and blankets.
- On this first floor we also have 2 bathrooms, of which one of them is inside a bedroom.
The top floor has a sloping roof and has:
- A bedroom with a double bed and right next to it a bathroom with a large bathtub. Always with sets of sheets and towels.
- There is a game room with billiards, table football, and also some sofas in front of a TV and home cinema. A leisure space that will make you enjoy a good time.

Hi. My name is Alfonso and I am the owner of this typical Basque farmhouse in the Navarra mountain
9 years ago, due to work circumstances, I decided to try to find a job in rural tourism.
Since then my job has been to train and try to know our area as best as possible so that people who visit us are at home and with all the information and help they may need.
What the owner pinpoints on the property
We are in the valley of Sakana, between the mountains of Aralar and Urbasa, surrounded by forests of oaks, chestnut trees, beeches.
Nearby, you can also take advantage of active tourism activities and get to know the Romanesque art in the area.
There is possibility to enjoy a couple of guided tours that are very interesting, both for families and children. And all this with unbeatable communications by highway to the same town.

Our accommodation is located in the valley of Sakana and in this area we have many places to visit and get to know the rural environment that characterizes this part of Navarra.
The caves of Mendukilo are the subsoil of the Sierra de Aralar. For years, work has been done in this area to allow people access and to know the secrets of the depths of this place. Precisely in the Sierra de Aralar we also find the well-known Ruta de los Dólmenes. A total of 44 are spread over a landscape that has rocky areas and others more populated with vegetation. There is a lot of signage so it will not cost you to follow this route.
If you want to contemplate another of the beautiful landscapes in this area, visit the Parque Natural de Urbasa - Andía inside which is the Mirador del Balcón de Pilatos, 900 meters of fall that serve to contemplate all the beautiful valleys. It is a protected space so we must respect all the signs that they give us.
