Alto de Muru

This rural house is located in Muru de Yerri, a municipality located in the Foral Community of Navarra.  The house is a building of stone walls and wood structure that follows the architecture of the typical hamlets of Navarra and the Basque Country.

Divided into 2 plants separated by a ladder, this house has capacity for 18 people and has the following rooms:

• 7 double rooms which can be equipped with 2 individual beds and with a marriage bed. They are found in the upper floor of the house.

• a dubl e in the ground floor of the house

In addition, we have 2 supletory beds.

• 2 bathrooms fully equipped with shower plate to get better access in the Planya Alta, and another 2 located on the ground floor and one of them adapted for people with reduced mobility.

• 2 wide rooms on the ground floor, one with comfortable sofas to read and relax and another with chimney to relax with the lullaby of the wood burning. This room also has a table to play board games in case of rain.

• A dining room to make meals when the house is full. On the walls surrounding the table there are several wooden cupboard where you will find from the tablecloths to the essential dishes.

• A services room that includes washing machine and iron to be able to do the cast.

• 3 rooms to be on the upper floor to be able to hang out in small groups chatting or watching a movie in the television.

• A garden that surrounds the house with barbecue to enjoy succulent barbecue with family.

In addition, the house has bicycles so that guests can travel the environment easily and heating to create a warm environment in the rainy months.

Muru de Yerri is a Navarrese town located in the Merindad of Estella. Estella is a medium city that stands out for having the Castillo Mayor, the only one that is preserved of the 3 strengths that this city had.  This city also has the Parque de los Reverados, also called the Squares Park.

Very close to this city is the Alloz Reservoir, an ideal navigable swamp to take long bathrooms in summer or camp on its banks in winter while routes and excursions are made through the pine forests that surround it. This reservoir is the best place for water sports, fishing or sunbathing.

To the north of La Merindad is the Sierra de Urbasa and Andía, a natural space that occupies about 21400 hectares and is populated with beech and pastures. The park is divided into 4 differentiated areas: the Sierra de Urbasa, plagued by caves and simas; The Sierra de Andía, which stands out for its mountains; The Nacedero of the Urederra River, which forms a waterfall of more than 30 meters high; and the améscoas.
