Casa Marian

This rural house is located in Cangas de Onís, in the Principality of Asturias, very close to the Picos de Europa Natural Park.

The house accommodates a maximum of 8 people and is divided into 4 double rooms, one with single beds and 3 with a double bed, which are rented separately. All rooms are equipped with a television for winter or rainy afternoons, a refrigerator to keep drinks and typical Cabrales cheese refrigerated, and a bathroom where you can relax after an excursion or a day at the beach.
In addition to the 4 bedrooms, the house has a dining room with a fireplace where breakfast and dinner are served and which has comfortable and large sofas to spend the evenings.
Among the services offered by this house are heating - ideal for rainy days in summer and essential in winter, hot water - which is appreciated after an excursion or descending the Sella, and wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi).
The house also has a stone patio and a large parking lot where you can leave your car without having to worry about looking for a parking space. Casa Marian is a traditional Asturian house with 2 floors. The second floor has a covered gallery with wooden beams and railing that gives it a rock-like appearance.

On the first floor there is the direct exit to the farm, which measures 5,000m2 and consists of a meadow for playing football, croquet or petanque, an area of fruit trees, whose fruits will delight the guest, and garden areas with a picnic area for breakfast or a snack in the garden, wooden swings for the little ones and benches, to watch the swings or to relax contemplating the beautiful views of the Picos de Europa.

Completing the garden is the barbecue, ideal for making barbecues or rice dishes and enjoying them in the picnic area of the large garden areas.

Casa Marian is located in Cangas de Onís, on the banks of the Ría Sella and very close to the Picos de Europa Natural Park.

The Natural Park offers various routes of varying difficulty, both through the mountains and through river canyons. One of these routes is the Cares, which follows the course of the homonymous river through the mountain range, but those that start from the Covadonga Lakes are also famous, and of medium difficulty, whose sunrise is worth it.

In addition to hiking, in these places you can practice various adventure sports or the descent of the Sella by canoe, starting from Arriondas and arriving at Ribadesella.

If, on the other hand, you want a quieter plan, it is worth visiting the Ribadesella beach and the caves with rock paintings by Tito Bustillo, in the same town, not to mention the towns of Covadonga or the Cangas de Onís itself, from whose Roman bridge hangs a reproduction of Don Pelayo's Victory Cross.
