Casa Magosto

Casa Magosto is located in the León area of ​​ Carucedo, in the region of El Bierzo, famous for its mines of Roman origin and located on the banks of the lake of Carucedo, where we can enjoy its swimming area in summer.

The facade of this rural accommodation respects the stylistic standards of the area with stone walls to protect us from the cold, slate tiles and wooden beams. It has a capacity for 6 people distributed in the only plant with which the house has.

This Leon house has a large living room, decorated with wooden furniture according to the ceilings of trunk seen and the floor of graés. Here we can enjoy a quiet time or family leisure in one of its comfortable sofas or its circular table for 4 people.

The linear style kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, washing machine and toaster, among other appliances and utensils. The wood of the ceiling contrasts with the white tiles of its walls. Through its window you can enjoy the views of the mountains.

It has three double bedrooms (with two single beds each) decorated in a simple way. They have a bedside cabinet and a built-in wardrobe. They have windows so light is a primary element in the room.

There is also a bathroom with bathtub to share between guests.

It is an area where chestnuts abound and hence the name of the house, since a "magosto" is a bonfire for roasting chestnuts that is made mainly during the time of harvesting the fruit.

Carucedo is a town from León closely linked to its mining tradition, with a Roman-era mine called "Las Médulas" and declared a World Heritage Site in 1997.

The lake of Carucedo is very close to the village and has a swimming area for the enjoyment and leisure of family or friends.

In the Romanesque church of the town stands out a piece of silver from the 17th century. XVIII, one of the most important in the region.
