It is a house located inSan Cristóbal de Valdueza, in the province of Leónand half an hour from the center of Ponferrada.

The materials with which it was made are almost entirely wood and stone and it was recently restored respecting all the architectural characteristics of the area and the house itself. The house has capacity for 4 people.

One of the rooms is located in the lower part of the house while the other is in the loft area. The one in the lower part has a fully dressed double bed and is located in a space where the walls are made of stone and wood, 2 of the materials with the most presence in the house. The walls are decorated with typical motifs of the area. It has acloset to store our belongings.

The room located in the loft has an equipped double bed. The entire space is attic and the ceiling is made of highly crafted wood as is the parquet floor. The space also has a very comfortable sofa bed. In front of the bed there is a sofa and some armchairs, all in front of a television; This is a space that can be used as a living room. We also have several wooden cabinets and shelves where we can store our things. We have a crib at the request of our guests.

The entire attic is wood-colored and has heating, as does the room at the bottom; warmth is assured. The living room has a collection of games and music equipment.

The kitchen is located at the bottom of the house and has a refrigerator, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and washing machine. In addition to all the necessary household items to make your stay pleasant. Next to the kitchen is the dining table with capacity for 6 people. We also have a fireplace ideal for giving warmth to the cold winters in the area. Your pets are welcome in the house.

The bathroom is complete, it also comes with enough towels for all the guests of the house.

Outside the house there is a parking area and swings for the little ones. San Cristóbal de Valdueza is located in a privileged place in El Bierzo, very close to the Oza Valley, where the church is located, which is a Mozarabic jewel. Nearby we also find Montes de Valdueza, a popular town thanks to its monastery.

If snow sports are your thing, the Morredero ski resort or the Aquilianos mountains are less than 2 hours away via Astorga. An hour's drive away is Las Médulas, an old gold mine from the time of the Roman Empire.

Rural activities are covered thanks to the offer of hiking, trekking, horse riding routes, mountain biking or mountain biking.
