Description of Casa El Cortijuelo
Our rural accommodation is located within the province of Granada, specifically in the town of Escóznar.
Raised in two floors, this accommodation retains the Andalusian architectural tradition, which dresses its façade of an unpolluted white that decorate the pots with flowers of bright colors.
Inside it can accommodate up to a maximum of 10 people, can use the spacious and complete rooms inside and the extensive outdoor areas.

As for las outdoor areas, nuestros guests shared spaces such as the terrace, fully equipped with garden furniture with a stone floor surrounding the farmhouse and mixed with la s entertainment areas que are composed of different tables of billiards, ping pong and table football and, in the center of our farmhouse, the pool, surrounded by hammocks to enjoy the sun.

The interior is distributed in:
- A comprehensive en kitchen counter which tile is held by the wooden furniture that hide the basic elements of y utensils are combined with de appliances everyday use. It is a very bright area since there are a pair of windows on the top that illuminate the work area. In addition, in the center a table in a striking blue thus extending the work surface available and also one of the walls that are free, an essential element in our farmhouse: the fireplace.
- A dining room in which the open space leaves a perfect visibility of the adjoining area that is the living room. Inside and under wooden ceilings that combine with the white walls, the dining table is extended, which has a capacity for all guests who can occupy the house.
- A nice muy lounge occupies one of the larger spaces of the house and also has one of the main attractions is its fireplace in a cylindrical format presiding the living. Around them and supported by the walls, two-seater sofas that are complemented by armchairs that have the same upholstery and are preceded by the auxiliary wooden table. On one side of the front wall, the television will allow you to relax.
- A very pleasant living room, of a smaller size but equally wide, in which a sofa and two armchairs that surround the rectangular wooden table are distributed. It is decorated with wooden furniture in which the different decorative elements have been placed.
- 3 bathrooms of which two of them are integrated into the rooms, one being el space provided for disabled y the other completely. The tubs and shower are distributed in the case of which it is adapted. In all of them there are towel sets a your disposition and courtesy hygiene items.
- 4 bedrooms spread over two double with una double bed and two single beds respectively and the otros two are triples, three single beds con. All of them have elegant quilts with floral motifs and wooden and wrought-iron headboards that create very beautiful spaces in which to rest. All linens are included.

We are 5 brothers who, with great enthusiasm, have created this project.
Formerly it was a cortijo, typically Andalusian, where we spent the summer season as a family.
Our parents decided to turn it into a rural house, with its corresponding restoration although, yes, always respecting that traditional and homelike home. Now we, continue day after day trying to improve, with the sole objective that our guests feel at home and visit us often.

What the owner pinpoints on the property
Our location is perfect for lovers of nature as we are on the edge of the plain of Granada.
In addition, the views are exceptional since the predoinante landscape is that of Sierra Nevada.
It is a family home with more than 150 years old, but it has been completely rehabilitated, including everything our guests need to enjoy.
Being a large farmhouse, you can rent several houses that also have a patio or a private terrace, depending on which one you choose.
All of them share common areas such as their garden and pool, perfect for a break of ten.
In addition, you will not have problems in terms of tourism in the center because it is very close to the urban area.
Finally, we emphasize that, if you want to travel with your pet, you can, since we accept animals.

What to do in its surroundings?
From the municipality of Ílora we recommend that you do a tourist route in which gastronomy and natural beauty will be the highlight, and never better said. In addition, their parties are celebrated at the end of summer.
Escoznar is another nearby post, which is located in the Western Mountains and adjacent to the Vega de Granada. Its altitude is perfect to see the greatness of its nature. Also, if you come at the end of summer, you can enjoy the festivities.
Regarding the gastronomy of the area, you will see that there are different recipes that you will love. Probably, the most demanded or typical dishes are, among many others, the porridge of must, the remojón of pike and the ajoblanco.
From the natural part destacan routes, a few kilometers, like that of the Cuesta del Romero, where you can see the ruins of some constructions of the Roman era. You can also follow the El Morrón, whose end is at the highest point of Parapanda y rising as the most impressive natural viewpoint in the area.
