Casa dos Ulloa

This pazo dedicated to rural tourism is located in Ribadavia, a small municipality belonging to the region of the Ribeiro, among the Suido and Fado mountains. 

With just over 25 square kilometers of surface, the town is located at 30 kilometers from Orense, and 65 kilometers from the province of Vigo.

In this environment more than 3,000 hectares are dedicated to the production of wine, so this is a perfect destination for wine culture fans and everything that surrounds it. 

This rural house whose construction dates from the 15th century is lifted on the banks of the Avia river. Fully reformed, it has all the qualities so that your stay is as comfortable as possible. 

The house can house a maximum of 22 guests, since it has 9 double rooms.

In the interior of the rooms there are:

• A marriage bed or 2 individual beds.

• night tables of traditional rustic style with lamps classic and cabinet in the same tone. 

• wide windows with views abroad that flood the rooms.

• a full bathroom. 

In the common areas we find:

• A hall lounge under the stairs of the entrance, with television and tables Camilla. 

• A wide living room with ceilings covered with wooden beams and stone walls. In this room there is no lack of television or the sofas to enjoy pleasant talks at sunset. 

• A dining room with stone walls inside which there is a beautiful chimney and wooden tables in combination with the chairs. Perfect for meals and dinners. 

• A great terrace in which you will feel the king of your own castle, with garden furniture, does not lack detail.

In case you do not want to disconnect at all, you have Wi-Fi connection both in the rooms and in common areas.

The small municipality of Ribadavia is located in the South Zone of Galicia. The landscape is surrounded by mountains where the cultivation of the vine has a main role. If you are a wine fan, we recommend you visit any of the surrounding wineries. 

If you do not mind moving for a few minutes, in Orense you can visit a lot of emblematic sites, among which are:

• Religious buildings such as the Cathedral of San Martín or the Church of the Holy Trinity.

• Civil constructions such as the archaeological museum.

• Medieval bridges as the old bridge or the walkway of the Vado. 

• Spas such as the poets to Chavasqueira.
