Our hotel is located only 2.5 km from the small and beautiful town of Arenas de San Pedro which has a population of only 7000 inhabitants. This municipality is the capital of the region of the Tiétar Valley and has several places of tourist interest that you can not miss, such as:
- The castle of the sad Countess, Gothic style fortress built in the fifteenth century. Throughout history it has been used as a prison and cemetery, now it is a museum with several multi-purpose rooms that are used for cultural purposes. In 1931 it was declared a historic artistic monument.
- The bridge of Aquelcabos, of medieval origin and used in antiquity for transhumant activity.
- Roll of Justice, symbol of the jurisdiction granted to Arenas de San Pedro in the 14th century. This monument was a sign of the autonomy of the village but ended up performing the functions of the pillory: to expose the prisoners executed before the people to humiliate them.
