This rural hotel is located near Piedrahíta, a municipality of just 2000 inhabitants that belongs to Ávila. In addition to its natural environment, this town is home to several monuments of tourist interest, such as:
- Plaza de España, is the main square of the town, characterized by its polygonal shape. It is surrounded by arcades designed in different times and inspired by different styles. In the center of the square there is an original fountain from the 18th century.
- The ruins of the Santo Domingo convent, built at the end of the 14th century. In the 19th century, after its ruin, it became a cemetery. The main chapel is the best preserved area of the convent church.
- The bullring, built with granite from the area. Today it houses the Traditional Cowgirl Riding and Dressage School.
- The Palace of the Dukes of Alba is one of the most visited monuments in Piedrahíta. It was built in the 18th century following the schemes of the French Baroque model.
