Description of Finca La Media Legua
Our accommodation is located in the Sierra de Huelva, specifically in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park, on a chestnut farm on the outskirts of Aracena.
Its physiognomy is reminiscent of the old Andalusian farmhouses, with a mix of natural elements such as forging, clay, wood... in a harmonious environment surrounded by vegetation.
We have a total of 12 apartments with 1 and 2 bedrooms and a hotel room/studio.
The9 one-bedroom apartments have capacity forbetween 2 and 3 people, and are divided into:
- A very nice double bedroom.
- A complete bathroom with all the toilets.
- A living room with fireplace, which communicates with the fully equipped kitchen.
- A porch.
The 2 2-bedroom apartments have capacity for between 4 and 5 people, and have:
- 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. There is anextra bed.
- A dining room in which the wood-burning fireplace is located, and which is next to the kitchen.
- A full bathroom.
- A terrace with good views.
Thestudio with capacity for 2 people brings together:
- A sleeping area with a double bed, which is located next to the kitchen, on a main front.
- An adapted bathroom.
- An equipped porch.
All these accommodations share the gardens, where the swimming pool, the barbecue and wood-burning oven and the meeting room are located. In addition, the farm has a reception service, free parking, a playground, trails from the farm itself, etc.

Our accommodation is located on a chestnut farm on the outskirts of the town of Aracena, next to the Seville-Lisbon national highway, and with easy access to the rest of the mountain towns that are worth visiting.
It is a space to enjoy and relax. It is an ideal place for lovers of nature, hiking, and for anyone who needs to relax and unwind for a few days.
We also have a lot ofhiking routes, bird watching, we are Starlight reserve (astonomy) with low light pollution.
As for recommendations for the visit, first of all we recommend Aracena, which is the most touristy town in the region, with places like:
