Description of El Cortijo Andaluz
This rural house that we describe here, is located in the small village of Fontanar, belonging to the municipality Jaén de Pozo Alcón, which with its small population of 450 inhabitants and a spectacular and idyllic setting, offers us an experience with some extras that will make us want to repeat more than once.
The façade of the house follows the line of the rest of the town, having an unpolluted white color that breaks with the uncovered stone of the lower part of its walls. Having 2 floors that can be rented independently, has 2 differentiated entrances and an external staircase that leads directly to the second apartment.
Following the exterior and the common areas, we have a large pool accompanied by hammocks, to sunbathe and freshen up in the hottest months of the year, while enjoying the views that surround it.
Next to the pool, we have a roofed picnic room in which we can make use of the fantastic barbecue with sink included. We also have another roofed picnic, that serves as porch and that has another large barbecue and firewood that we may need to use. XX
In total, and with a maximum capacity of 18 people, when can be rented in full, the rooms of the house are:

- 2 kitchens c omodísimas and fully equipped con all the appliances y necessary utensils to prepare our best dishes without taking any luxury at fault.
- 4 bathrooms huge and complete, with large showers and toilets in perfect condition. To all this is added the extra towel sets.
- 9 double bedrooms, with beds of marriage, following some very clear and typical themes of the area. 5 of them are decorated with motifs of the typical customs of the people, such as bullfighting and vintage, while the other 4 are based on the 4 seasons of the year. All of them have a mural on the front wall that is accompanied by a literary phrase referring to the theme of the room.

Full of corners to visit and enjoy while we take a nice walk and soak up their culture. We can also visit, being not far away, the XX cities cities of Granada and Jaén
For those who love nature, we also have the Negratín and the Bolera reservoirs very close by, ideal to spend a day in the countryside while we cool off from the suffocating heat of the summer months. If we look for hiking or other types of mountain activities, the Natural Parks of the Sierras de Castril and Baza, which offer us some idyllic pictures.
