Description of Apartamento Arbe
Our home is located on the top of Almazorre, singular municipality of the province of Huesca.
It is a traditional stone house characteristic of the Aragonese countryside constructions that we decided to rehabilitate and turn it into a cozy holiday apartment.
It was built a few centuries ago, on the highest part of the mountainside, which allows visitors to be in permanent contact with nature. Surrounded by olive trees and fields, the house is a faithful representation of the main activity of Almazorre and the region, agriculture and livestock.
In the process of transformation it has retained its stone structure, as well as some elements now decorative but formerly used in the work of the field. Wood is one of the materials that has been used most to equip the interior of the house, giving it a rustic and sober style comparable to the rest of field houses in the area.
The sloped ceilings with wooden beams are common in all rooms. The corridor leads us to the living room, which in turn is kitchen and dining room. Equipped with all appliances, an extendable dining table and a living area with 2 large windows, one on the wall and one on the roof.
The 2 bedrooms are spacious and cozy, with stone walls and a careful decoration. The house is designed so that 4 people can access it. Older, small and even the pet have their place in our apartment too.
A terrace outside built in stone extends throughout the house. Here in summer it is possible to sunbathe and enjoy outdoor lunches, as in addition garden furniture was also incorporated a barbecue stone large capacity.
