Hostal Rural Gartxenia

Our rural hostel is in Navarra, in the municipality of Larraintzar, on the outskirts of the town and surrounded by nature.

The house consists of the typical farmhouse antiguo, with a look very similar to those seen in the Basque Country, given the closeness and linkage of both territories. It has white walls, with traditional slabs placed in the corners and around the wooden windows of the building. In addition, it has a nice balcony with enclosure, also very characteristic.

It is a single-family house, a little isolated from the rest of the surrounding constructions. Therefore, tranquility is guaranteed. The main road passes very close, that's why you will also enjoy good accessibility and communication with the town.

We have 5 bedrooms, all suitable for 2 people, so, in total, fit 10 people. In addition, as we want to take care of every last detail, we include the breakfast in your accommodation, to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Our hostel is specifically designed for adults, especially so you can spend a quiet and intimate holiday with your partner. If this is your goal, here you will find what you need.

Inside the hostel, guests have a room for free use. It is a large space with wooden floors, with several sofas placed forming different areas to be. All this, decorated with rustic furniture combining them with more modern and more straight lines. The same happens with colors, wood mixes with red or electric blue.

The garden is an authentic wonder, a calm haven where you can relax and spend time quietly. A key piece is our terrace, placed on a slate floor and surrounded by lush greenery. We are very fond of gardening, so everything is full of well-tended shrubs, large trees and grass, but what stands out is the quantity and variety of flowers. From hydrangeas to coves, they all create a perfect environment.

Aside, there are more corners of the garden where you can take refuge, such as wooden benches or rocking chairs.

The restaurant of the hostel is an essential element, since gastronomy is a fundamental aspect. We make a product kitchen, specializing in mycology. If you have a hole, do not hesitate to try our menu.

We are in the valley of the Ultzama, in the region of Ultzamaldea, a territory characterized by its river, which gives it its name. This passes very close to the house, and, in between, runs a stream, the Arkil.

In addition, the area is known for the abundance and quality of its mushrooms, which greatly influence the cuisine, making them a main product.

The Orgi Forest is a leafy oak with a lot of antiquity, of which are preserved in the area. It is a Recreational Natural Area, with the intention of protecting these species that have been so threatened and overexploited.

We are only 25 kilometers of the capital of Navarra, Pamplona. This city can offer many activities, both leisure and cultural. If you want to visit something, the most representative places are, for example, the facade of the city hall o or the Cathedral of Santa María. However, another very typical street of the San Fermines.
