Lar de Vilariño

Our rural house is located outside of Poio, una locality pontevedresa muy close to the beach.

It consists of a large building, a construction dating from eighteenth century. With so much history behind it, the restoration has been carried out respecting the original materials and the characteristic personality of the house. Its facade presents large rocks forming the walls, dotted with windows of different sizes and balconies.

has different heights, because the terrain where it is located has some slope. In total, the capacity is 12 people, including 2 additional beds.

Has 5 bedrooms, all with double beds, but each with a different decoration, cohesive by common elements, such as wood. The headboards stand out, with different drawings and in different materials. For example, one of them has skin, while another is painted white or has a canopy with romantic curtains falling. In some of its walls the masonry is still preserved, combining it with plain colors and in light tones.

In each room there is a bathroom interior, own for each one.

The living room and dining room are located in a room at 2 heights, to separate the rooms:

• On the one hand is the living room, with beige 2-seater sofas and dark wood furniture, as a showcase.
• At the other end is the dining room, equipped with tables and chairs tapizadas with dark skin, to match the rest of the room.

There is also a kitchen, where you will find everything you need, including dishwasher to make your vacation as comfortable as possible.

In the outside, we have a great venue, located on a hill, with pool and hammocks, from where you will see the whole landscape. In addition, you can also use our barbecue.

Being so close to the sea, there are a lot of things you can do around it.

For example, you can travel by boat to the island of Ons, one of those that form the declared archipelago Natural Park.

Combarro is a nearby parish, known for its beautiful beaches and its historical heritage, full of hórreos antiguos and typical Galician cruises.

In the Poio itself you can also see other places, such as the monastery of Poio. It is a great representation of the Romanesque, but, not only is it attractive for architecture, but it also has a large library inside.

It is clear that the Rías Baixas are a main element of our accommodation, due to the proximity. Each one of them are worth visiting, like the beaches that form in their mouths.
