Located in the picturesque valley of Baztán, this rural house is a building of recent construction that respects the traditional architecture of the valley, since it is built mainly with stone and wood.

Located in the same building as the owners, this house has capacity for 12 people, and is distributed as follows:

• 5 double bedrooms, 4 of them furnished with 2 single beds and the fifth with a double bed. In addition, the house admits up to 2 extra beds.

• 4 bathrooms completely equipped, some with shower and others with bathtub distributed so that there are 2 per floor. 2 of these bathrooms are integrated in 2 of the rooms.

• A kitchen fully equipped with everything you need so you can cook comfortably and quickly, enjoying your vacation. Among the appliances of this kitchen include a washing machine and a dishwasher.

• A living-dining room furnished with soft sofas in which to relax in the shelter of the fireplace while watching a movie on the television.

• A terrace exterior furnished with garden tables and chairs in which to make family meals and contemplate the environment surrounding the house.

• A garden so that the little ones play outdoors in which they can cook succulent barbecues.

• A parking area so you do not have problems leaving the car.

In addition, the house has WiFi connection to the internet and tourist information to help you plan your stay well.

Gartzain is the gateway to the Baztán valley, a beautiful typical Navarran valley that is located between the Pyrenean mountains. This valley is dotted with forests of beech, oaks and even alders on the banks of the river. The towns of this valley are formed of hamlets, houses of indianos and palaces of hidalgos that do of this a unique and endearing place.

Through this valley are the caves of Urdax, a burst of stalactites and stalagmites that will surprise all visitors. In addition, these caves are full of legends about mythological beings, witches, pilgrims and smugglers that make them have a mysterious air and a magical aura.

Near Urdax is Zugarramurdi, which is known in the valley for having been the scene of the burning of 6 neighbors of this place because they were declared witches by the tribunal of the inquisition and did not want to retract. In this town the film by Alex de la Iglesia was filmed in 2013, starring Carmen Maura, who was awarded 8 Goyas.
