La Viña del Abuelo

Our accommodation is located within the province of Ávila, in a town called Burgohondo.

This home has functioned as a farmhouse in other times, to become, currently and after a remodeling, a rural house located on a farm of more than 1,000 square meters in which the facilities invite rest and family fun.

Witha total of 2 floors, the main structure, which respects the construction style of the area, opens up enough spaces so that a maximum of 11 people can coexist inside without problems.

These spaces are:

• A living room in which the space for rest is made up of several upholstered sofas, in cream tones, which direct the views towards the enormous wood-burning fireplace, which is located in the corner and next to the furniture on which the television rests.

• A dining room in the same space as the previous room, composed of a huge dark wooden table, very robust, which is complemented by a pair of benches made of the same material.

• An American style kitchen in which wood and stone are optimally combined. The first of the materials, in the cabinets that hide the cooking utensils as well as the crockery and cutlery and, the second, in the base of the bar that communicates with the rest of the spaces. It is worth highlighting the luminosity of the area, with several windows on its side fronts and also its set of appliances, very complete and modern.

• 2 common bathrooms complete with hydromassage showers. Elements such as the mirror, sinks and the rest of the toilets are in perfect condition. You will also have enough sets of towels.

• 5 double bedrooms that are distributed between the 2 floors of the house. We have 2 with a couple of single beds, many others with a double bed in each one and a last one that is a suite in which you will have a double bed and a single bed. The latter has itsprivate bathroom with hydromassage and towels and also, television in the same room.

The exteriors are divided into:

• A glass front porch where you can sit at any time of the year. 

• A huge garden where you will find the swimming pool, surrounded by hammocks and flowers that adorn each of its corners.

• A back porch, also furnished where you can see how what you are cooking is going on the barbecue which is in the outdoor area and which also consists of bars that provide greater functionality.

Our location is centered within the province of Ávila, in the beautiful and traditional town of Burgohondo.

It is one of the perfect areas for tourism as it combines the most natural part with the most emblematic buildings in the area. Perhaps the most characteristic is theAbbey of Our Lady of the Assumption, a classic of the area that was declared a Historical-Artistic Monument.

Thehermitages of San Roque and Los Judíos are two of the essential monuments on your visit to the town.

Las Umbrías is an area that has the highest concentration of hamlets which also combines with natural places in which endemic species grow non-stop, leaving images worthy of a postcard.

In short, a perfect place to disconnect from everyday life and connect with the most natural part.
