With the location that this accommodation enjoys, we will have the opportunity to get to know the charming historic villa with Llanes beach, although being able to retire to the tranquility of a much quieter environment and away from the madding crowd that invades the streets in high tourist season of population.
Taking into account our access point to the municipality, the first point of interest that we would find, especially if we are fans of the seventh art, would be the Palacio de Partarríu, the fabulous villa built in the 19th century, in the style of what in the north of Spain it is called casas de indianos, where the filming of the famous and award-winning film El Orfanato took place. In our advance, which could still be by car or on foot, since the distances are not excessive, keeping the same direction, we would come across the Hermitage of the Virgin of the Guide, which if we are not interested as a monument in itself, at least it provides us with a spectacular viewpoint from which to contemplate the beaches of Les Muyeres and Puerto Chicu.
In the surroundings of the marina that forms at the mouth of the Reguera del Carrocedo, we will find the curious clothesline for the nets next to the Llanes Lighthouse and from where we will have a privileged view of the precious intervention carried out by the painter Agustín Ibarrola on the breakwater of the town, Los Cubes of Memory, which constitute a cheerful note of color that contrasts from this perspective with the blue of the Cantabrian Sea.
From the last point we would only have to walk about 10 minutes in a northwesterly direction to begin to enter the beautiful historic center of the city.
