the Pontón is a small district of the municipality of Requena, in the province of Valencia. It is the perfect place if what you are looking for is the calm and peace of nature.

Our wonderful rural house is for 16 people. It is designed for large groups, so it has wide rooms, so you don't have space problems.

The Rural House was built in 1923, but we have rehabilitated it maintaining the structure of wooden beams and stone walls. The house has 500 m² distributed both inside and outside the house.

The accommodation is divided into 3 plants and consists of:

• 6 bedrooms
• cuisine
• living room
• 2 bathrooms
• leisure room
• garden
• terrace

The bedrooms:

• 4 triple rooms
• a double bed room
• a room with 2 individual beds

the kitchen of the house, has 60m². A quite wide stay, where you will be able to enjoy elaborating exquisite dishes in the company of yours. This place is equipped with all the necessary items for cooking.

To enjoy all the meals together, we have a family table for the 16 people, in the living room.

The house has 2 leisure and rest zones. The first is located in La Plata low, and has a sofas set and a firewood fireplace, to liven up the stay. The other is located on the second floor of the house, and is prepared so that you can read, play or speak among you.

The bathrooms of the house, have everything luxury of details ( towels, hair dryer, gel, shampoo, toilet paper ) for your well -being.

The exterior zone, has a cozy patio, where you can enjoy a family meal prepared in the barbecue and paellera zone.  At night, you can go out to observe the stars that are seen from the terrace or the courtyard of the house.

We have a house adapted for people with reduced mobility. The ground floor of the house does not have any step and the bathrooms are also adapted for them.

The municipality of Requena, has a lot of history among its streets. Different eras have passed through it and each one has left something wonderful that you have to see.

We are going to recommend the most interesting places in the town.

• neighborhood of La Villa: It is the oldest neighborhood of the city, where the first indications of the population were recorded
• Church of San Nicolás: Data of the thirteenth century is the oldest of the villa churches.
• church of Santa María: dates from the fourteenth century is the greatest of the churches of the town.
• Church of the Salvador: Its foundation is attributed to the times of King Alfonso XI. His work began in 1380 and concluded in 1533.
• La Alcazaba: built by the pillows in the eleventh century is located in the highest part of the town.
• the fortress: It is built at the end of the 12th century.  The style is Mudejar.
• Palacio del Cid: rebuilt in the fifteenth century.

At the end of August and early September “ the Harvest Festival ” is celebrated, which was declared of tourist interest in 1967. It is the oldest harvest party in Spain.

Requena has an interesting wine route. 10 are the municipalities that travel this route. In it, you will travel the most important wineries and vineyards in the area, and you will learn a lot about the elaboration of wine.

For the motorcycle lovers, we have the circuit "Ricardo Tormo" 34 kilometers away. This place has every year with races of the world of motorcycling world.
