La Mina Rural - Casa del Hierro

This rural accommodation can be found in the municipality of El Almendro, specifically in a small town whose inhabitants were mostly dedicated to mining. And precisely this house was then a place that housed the mine workers. 

It is part of the La Mina Rural complex, which in addition to this one has two other houses (Casa del Cobre and Casa del Manganeso), both with the capacity to accommodate 4 guests each. 

This has a capacity for 6 people who will stay in the 2 bedrooms it has and in the sofa bed for two that is in the living room. The rooms are one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Both with plenty of space, decorated, with cabinets and desk tables. 

At the entrance of the house is the living room, which is also used as a dining room, and as we have mentioned previously, as an additional bedroom. But it also has a fireplace, plasma television and different furniture. All the other rooms in the house face it. 

The kitchen is small but is structured in a way that contains the most useful appliances.

In a room adjacent to this is the bathroom, with white and yellow tiles, and a bathtub that has hydromassage jets. 

In the rural house you can also find a first aid kit for any emergency, heating and air conditioning. 

Residents will be able to enjoy the bicycles that we have and that are in an outdoor room shared by the three houses in the complex.

The place where this rural house is located was an old mining working town and in it you can see how practically all the houses are painted white, thus providing its Andalusian touch. It belongs to the Huelva municipality of El Almendro, which is part of the El Andévalo region. 

The Guadiana River passes through here and next to it the town of Sanlúcar de Guadiana is created, of Arab origin and where you can see a castle from the mid-19th century. XVII or baroque type churches. 

A few kilometers away is also the well-known Doñana National Park with more than 100,000 hectares and an abundant number of living beings of both animal and plant origin.
