La Alberiza

La Alberiza, a construction more than a century old rehabilitated in stone and wood following the canons of the Omañés style, is located in the León municipality of Riello, at more than 1,000 meters above sea level.

With a 3,000 m² property, this mountain house consists of 4 bedrooms with bathrooms inside (3 double rooms and one triple), making this tourist accommodation a wonderful house that can fit up to 10 people. 

It is divided into 2 floors and on the main façade the skate staircase that connects them from the outside stands out. In addition to the rooms, you can find a living-dining room, a living room with a beautiful white fireplace, a traditional kitchen and a common toilet. 

In almost all the rooms on the upper floor you can enjoy a beautiful wooden balcony with views of the countryside and the mountains (on the front of the façade).

On the outside of the house, you can enjoy its walled patio that has the following elements: stone barbecue to prepare delicious grilled meals and a garden with grass. 

Riello is a town in the Omaña region nestled on the slopes of the Cantabrian mountain range, declared a Biosphere Reserve. Omaña is a region in the northwest of the province of León, it is a large natural valley with different routes and paths.

It is an environment where you can enjoy nature to the fullest, but if you are interested in tourism, some nearby towns with some tourist interest are: Pandorado, Rosales, Murias de Paredes, Piedrasecha, etc. 

If you go in winter, don't forget to try the omañés stew, a typical dish of this region.
