El Rincón de la Moraña

Cozy rural house in the town of Fuente El Sauz, in the north of the province of Ávila. It is a full rental home with the capacity to accommodate up to 13 people, which has been recently renovated and rehabilitated. Originally it was a rural house that was built in 1925 and in which its charm and original essence are still maintained but without losing the current comforts.

In fact, original materials such as adobe and wood are still maintained and we also wanted to maintain the same distribution that it had when it was first built. This distribution is as follows:

• A spacious living room with fireplace, in which in addition to several ecru sofas, is decorated with beautiful walls in green tones as well as different wooden furniture. Both the bookcase and the television chest of drawers evoke the furniture of yesteryear, as do the farmhouse elements that decorate one of the walls – as in other rooms. The fireplace is wood and sitting next to it in winter is very desirable, despite the fact that there is heating throughout the house, as it creates a very cozy atmosphere.

• A complete and semi-independent kitchen, where you will find all kinds of appliances so that you can prepare delicious dishes. It also comes with the household items that you may need. And we say semi-independent because it is attached to the dining room, where there is a large wooden table where all 15 of you can sit.

• A total of 5 bedrooms, distributed on the different floors of the house, and of different capacities. All come withsingle beds, except one, which comes equipped witha double bed and also have large wooden closets and in all of them there are windows to the outside.

• 2 bathrooms, completely new and renovated. One of them comes with a large hot tub, while the other comes equipped with a shower.

Outside, the house has its own patio. It is a space with stone floors and where, in addition to outdoor furniture, there is a barbecue so you can prepare some grilled meat in the summer. Whether during the day with the sun high, or at night with the stars, this plan is always appealing.

And we don't forget the games room. A space where you will find a ping-pong table as well as several bicycles in case you want to go out to see the beautiful area in which this house is located.

Near Fuente El Sauz is Madrigal, a beautiful town that is also completely walled – just like the city of Ávila itself. Another place to visit is Arévalo, which has been declared a Historical-Artistic Site and is known as the city of the five lineages. Here you can visit its Castle and where you will see its Mudejar style tower, as well as the 3 churches. 

In the town you can find remains of the paleontologist, which were originally found near the cemetery. They are remains of fossilized turtles. Here are the museums of History of Arévalo and theCereal Museum.
