El Portón

This country house, of stolen and built in the rustic way in stone and wood, rests in the town of Miengo, in Cantabria, in a privileged location for its proximity to Santander and the center of Cantabria. 

With its 3 plants, it has how much it may be required to enjoy a rest and relaxation stay, since it is equipped with all the necessary services, and can house both families and large groups. Within the property there is a parking zone, so that the guest will not have to worry about finding a place to leave its vehicle.

It has a total capacity for 12 people in its 5 marriage rooms, although it has the possibility of hosting 2 more in individual supplementary beds. The bedrooms each have their style, colorful and detailed, and a window that opens abroad. One of the bedrooms is in the attic, and enjoys as much intimacy as possible, as well as a small area of ​​being with two seats.

On the ground floor you will find a curious and collected lounge, which appears just when crossing the entrance, and is composed of a brand new firewood fireplace and 2 sofas, faced with a flat screen television. It is the perfect place to meet and spend some time when you don't want to leave the house.

Next, from this room we go to the dining room, with a wide table, a wooden bench and several chairs, in a space with light and decorated with autumn motifs. Through an arc you enter the cuisine, well provided with how much items may be necessary so that guests do not miss homemade food.

The house has 4 full bathrooms, annexes to 4 rooms on the first floor, and a cleanliness on the ground floor.

Outside we have a porch with rustic garden furniture, and on it a balcony with views of Europe's peaks. We can enjoy a vast private garden, with a brick barbecue and diaphanous space to run, play or start the air and enjoy a moment of calm in a natural and intimate environment.

while is a unique rural enclave, surrounded by the waters of the Cantabrian to the north and to the west by the San Martín de la Arena estuary. It has 5 beaches and several architectural works, such as the Palacio de Torre Herrera, and other formations, such as the Cudón cave, declared a cultural interest.

The perfect communication of the house with the A67 highway brings it closer to multitude of urban places and enclaves of Cantabria, including Santander and Torrelavega, which can be reached in less than 15 minutes.

In 20 minutes can be planted in the Nature Park of Cabárceno, with its animals in semi -liberty living in a landscape naturalized by the hand of man.

In a little more than an hour, it can be found in Santillana del Mar, and leave from there to Comillas and San Vicente de la Barquera, to travel the most emblematic cities of the Cantabrian coast.

If you opt to visit the interior of the region, you can choose to approach Viesgo Puente and its spa, or cross the cabuérniga valley to reach the Saja-Besaya Natural Park, with impressive views starring the rivers that give name to the park.
