El Escondite de Castroserna

The rural house is a recently restored mansion from the beginning of the 20th century with wonderful views of the Sierra located in Castroserna de Arriba, a town that belongs to Prádena (Segovia).

The house can accommodate 10 guests and its rooms are divided into three floors.
The ground floor has a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator, mixer oven, coffee maker..., which connects to a spacious living-dining room with furniture and a wood-burning fireplace. We also found a pantry.

The bedrooms are a total of 5, bright, with 10 beds and distributed as follows:

• Asingle room
• A triple room with a single bed of 0.90m and another double of 1.50m
• 3 double rooms: en suite, attic en-suite and with balcony

In addition, the house has 2 extra beds, 4 bathrooms, Internet, heating and bed linen and towels.

One of the bathrooms is adapted for people with reduced mobility. In addition, to access the accommodation there is an external ramp.

The first floor has access to the beautiful garden with outdoor pool, covered barbecue and bar. From there you can access one of the charms of the house, its covered jacuzzi, with capacity for 6 people, surrounded by hammocks.

Private parking is also available.

Although it is a modern and renovated house, it maintains its original appearance with its preserved materials, such as the wooden beams, the hand-carved stone walls, the exposed adobe and clay fireplace, and the iron ornaments with rivets worked by hand and by hand with fire and hammer. A charming accommodation where tranquility and relaxation prevail.

Castroserna de Arriba is located only one hour from Madrid. It is a cozy village in the Sierra de Guadarrama, where you can enjoy nature in its Natural Park. As well as taking the opportunity to fly paragliding.

You can get to know the surroundings by walking, for example, just 1.5 km away we find a natural stream and some caves. The most notable is the enebralejos cave in Prádena, a very nearby town.

The activities that you can practice in the area are climbing, mountaineering, archery, canoeing, hang gliding, fishing, hiking, caving, paintball, skiing (at the La Pinilla ski resort), etc.

There are some routes in the area, where horseback riding routes are organized in walks and treks.

Also distinguished in the Segovian environment is the Hoces del Río Duratón Natural Park, which houses a deep canyon, with slopes of more than 100 meters in certain points.
