Description of El Convento de Vadillo
This rural house is located within the Convent of Santa María de Vadillo, built at the beginning of the s. XIII by order of an Augustinian religious. Located in Frías, a town in Burgos, it is currently a place with a lot of charm and history where your family and/or friends can spend some very happy days.
The construction is in stone, it has 3 double rooms (with single beds) so it can accommodate up to 6 people, but there is the possibility of enabling a sofa bed, so 8 people could sleep. The room on the ground floor has a television and its own bathroom with shower.
The kitchen is very spacious and is equipped with all the necessary accessories (including coffee maker, toaster and blender) and in this a table with wooden benches stands out.
Very classic decoration and furniture, typical of Castilla.
In the convent grounds you will find a beautiful garden, with tables and chairs so you can enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice and use the barbecue that is in a corner.
