El Barreiro

The rural house that we present below is located in the El Bierzo area and has capacity for 6 people. It is an accommodation that has 2 floors.

The 4 bedrooms are on the upper floor of the house and are accessed from a hallway/distributor. They are like this:

• Two of them are individual, for maximum privacy.
• There is one that has a double bed in its rooms.
• Another has two single beds.

They all have closets and windows. There are also 3 shared bathrooms. You will have towels and bedding in general.

On the ground floor you will find the kitchen, which offers the typical items, such as a refrigerator, oven, coffee maker and toaster. And, in addition, we have a Bilbao-style charcoal stove.

In the living room you can enjoy the fire in the fireplace while you play the board games that we put at your disposal, watch television or read something from the library.

We also offer you information and guides about the possibilities that our environment offers. There is heating.

The accommodation has its origins in the early 19th century, and in the decoration and details an attempt has been made to preserve the environment of yesteryear.

Our rural house is in the Bierzo region, and we recommend you visit:

• Las Médulas, colorful hills in red tones, which in Roman times was a very curious open mine.
• The Sierra de Ancares, which is declared a Natural Park.
• The Matalavilla Reservoir, a place for fishing and other sports.

Very close to the house is alsoThe Sierra de Gistredo, with peaks such as Mount Catoute, which is more than 2000 meters high.
