Description of Casa Simeón
In the beautiful town of Gaianes, in the north of the province of Alicante, we find accommodation with a decoration that will chain rural lovers.
For those who do not know it, the town is located on the slope of the Sierra de Benicadell, placing 80 km of Alicante and less than 100 km from Valencia.
It is an ideal accommodation to enjoy a few days with the family or accompanied by your best friends, having a maximum capacity for 16 guests.
We have a total of 7 rooms, of which there are:
The double rooms are distributed between the ground floor and the first floor, with views towards the Sierra or the Albufera of the town. The quadruple, is located on the second floor, under abuhardillad roofs.

The house is in a special environment: in the middle of Gaines, a population whose origin dates back to the Muslim era where you can combine the natural tourism with the cultural excursions:
- To enjoy the mountain, you can travel the paths that run through the Sierra de Benicadell. If you ascend to the top, you will observe along the way El Castillo de la Peña, a small strength of defensive origin.
- If you want to practice ornithological tourism, we recommend you go to the Albufera de Gaianes, a beautiful natural lagoon in which you will see a wide variety of species.
- Among the heritage of the people, you can visit the church raised in honor of San Jaime Apóstol, built in the 16th century; or the Hermitage of San Francisco de Paula.
- The provincial capital, Alicante, is less than an hour on the way, so you can visit it and return on the same day.
