Casa Rural Santu Colás

In the Asturian town of Corao, council of Cangas de Onís is this rural house where you can enjoy the wonders offered by the town located in the imposing Picos de Europa.

• A living room with a fireplace in which you can enjoy a good book on various Asturian topics or a board game.

The exterior is spectacular and there you can find:

• A large garden in which to get lost in long fields among its leafy trees. 

• A pond with water lilies.

• A hórreo, which is a typical Asturian construction that tries to preserve food from humidity and animals. Below it you can enjoy the views of the house from the table there. 

• The facility has a private parking area for its guests. 

This place is the place that you and your partner need to find the peace and tranquility that routine takes away from you. 

In the principality of Asturias, specifically in the town of Cangas de Onís, you will find this fantastic rural house. The town in which it is located belongs to the Picos de Europa National Park, where some of the best cheeses in Spain such as Cabrales are produced. 

The mountain town, which was formerly the capital of the kingdom, is divided into 11 parishes. These include the monuments of:

• The bridge. This Historical Monument was built during the time of Alfonso XI although it is known as if it were from Roman times. 

• The Palace of Cortés. This three-story palace belongs to the 18th century. 

• The Sella River, in which its descent is a unique experience to do or observe. 

Furthermore, a nearby place that cannot be missed is Covadonga. There the imposing Basilica of Santa María de Covadonga stands between the National Park and its mountains. The Enol and the Ercina are the rivers that you can see from there and that form the Lakes of Covadonga.
