Casa Rural Roble Gordo

This rural house is located in Rabanera del Pinar, a small town in the Sierra de la Demanda, belonging to the province of Burgos. It is built of stone and wood and follows the external architecture of traditional Burgos houses.

Roblegordo can accommodate 10 people with the possibility of adding 6 extra beds for small children.

The house is divided as follows:

• 8 double rooms with bathroom included, painted in warm colors and with a television set so that guests can relax with their favorite movies and series.

• A living room equipped with wide, comfortable sofas where you can relax while watching television or listening to music.

• A kitchen fully equipped with oven, to be able to make delicious roasts and prepare pastries, hob, to make succulent stews, microwave, to heat leftovers and 2 dishwashers, in the absence of one, so as not to have to wash the dishes by hand and take advantage of the time saved to enjoy the house and its surroundings.

The house also has central heating throughout the year, to also enjoy it in the winter months. Likewise, it is surrounded by a garden that will delight the little ones who will be able to run around it, and it is equipped with a terrace from which to contemplate the beautiful views of the pine forest and the mountains.

Although the house has a kitchen, upon request you can order roasted suckling lamb and Burgos pudding, which will make your mouth water just by looking at them and will be able to satisfy even the most demanding palate.

The house has access adapted for people with reduced mobility and can accept pets with prior consultation and conditions.

The house is located in Rabanera del Pinar, which is part of the Sierra de la Demanda, a protected natural area. In this mountain range is the Cañada Real de Segovia, which is worth seeing, and inside it is the Puente Soriano, a striking little bridge.

Through this natural space you can take the route of the Pinares de Urbión Trail, of medium difficulty and 10km long, a path full of mushrooms in autumn and native fauna at any time of the year.

The house is located very close to the beginning of the Río Lobos Natural Park, where you can take the canyon route, a low difficulty route that reaches the Templar hermitage of San Bartolo.

Around the house there is also the monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos, the subject of several poems by Spanish writers, and famous for its cypresses, it is a Romanesque monastery of singular beauty.
