Casa Rural Río Tirón

The rural house Río Tirón is located at the Rioja town of Tormantos. It has been reformed very recently, at which time we have even renamed it with this name.

It is striking its own facade, painted dark yellow and where you can see some of the wooden beams with which it was raised and that create beautiful shapes and a more rustic look; also the stone and brick at the bottom and side.

is divided into 3 floors and may stay a total of 12 people. For this, has 6 bedrooms, of which four are equipped with separate single beds and two with four-poster beds. All of them have their private bathroom, some even with double sinks. Also, they have television in the interior. They have plenty of space and tables or armchairs for the comfort of the guests.

The kitchen mixes the old and the modern, being located in this rustic environment, but with completely new furniture and appliances. Next to it there is a living room, which in one part becomes a dining room and another in a sitting area with armchairs and chimney. Apart it has a second room where to watch television.

This rural accommodation also has a small terrace with barbecue, decorated with plants and where you can also eat and / or dine.

Tormantos is located at La Rioja, but is in the westernmost part of this, bordering with Burgos. For this reason, from our rural house located in the region of Santo Domingo de la Calzada, whose capital is the homonymous town, you can easily enjoy the atmosphere and touristic point of two different autonomous communities.

It is a small and quiet town, with about 150 inhabitants; It stands out of him his Romanesque church built in the XVI century por San Esteban Protomartir.
