Rural Casa located in the Leon town of Santibáñez de la Isla, within the Vega del Río Tuerto, which owes its name to the square where it is located and that was the place where the vendors sold the urz, heather plant with a purple or white flower, and with which the brooms used for sweep the pen for example.

It is a tillage house that, currently, is rehabilitated and is profitable as a rural tourism accommodation, although maintaining the charm.

The building is formed by 2 floors, divided in the way that, on the ground floor there are:

• A cuisine, within a diaphanous space in which you can cook your best dishes without problems since it has a complete set of appliances in addition to the outer necessary.

• A lounge, that together with the kitchen, occupies an surface of 40 square meters. In this space, both environments thanks to a dining table made of wood, you will find a set of sofas that are directed towards the chimney, in the main front. Here you can enjoy a very pleasant rest.

• A double room with a central part occupied by the marriage bed which can be added a more supplementary bed.

• a bathroom equipped with shower of hydromassage.

It should be noted that, all this main floor is designed for people with reduced mobility, having eliminated any architectural barrier.

For its part, the first floor consists of:

• 3 rooms more, fully equipped and in which resting will be very easy since, all beds are dressed in bedding for any time of the year. 

• Another kitchen living room, a space shared by the 2 environments and complete in any of them.

• a bathroom that has a bathtub with hydromassage.

The common leisure spaces could be encompassed in a small roofing patio in one part and equipped with outdoor furniture as its table and its wooden chairs. Santibáñez de la Isla is a town in the province of León, located in La Vega del Río Tuerto whose course leads us directly to a point of the Camino de Santiago.

Just 15 kilometers is La Bañeza one of the important populations of the province and with a beautiful place in which its City Council is located.
