Casa Rural La Florentina

This house is a traditional construction located in Ochando, a small Segovian village with barely 10 inhabitants. It is completely built with stone from the area, Valsaín pine wood and old tiles.

The house has total privacy, since the main entrance is located within the stone-fenced patio, with capacity for 12 people, and with 2 floors. It also has an independent studio within the same patio with its own bathroom, available to clients.

On the ground floor, we find:
 

• A kitchen open to the dining room, equipped with large and small appliances such as the refrigerator or coffee maker, respectively, and all the utensils necessary to cook at home.

• A spacious living room where you can enjoy relaxing moments in the heat of the fireplace, ideal for a chat, or watching plasma television.

• A complete bathroom in which you will find the shower, a dryer and iron.

• 2 double bedrooms, of which one of them has a double bed, and the other 2 single beds. Both have direct access to the garden.

The upper floor consists of:
 

• 3 triple bedrooms, divided into 2 of them with a double bed and a single bed, while the last one consists of 3 single beds.

• A complete bathroom equipped with a shower tray, as well as towel sets.

         
Outside, you can enjoy a landscaped patio with a salt chlorination pool, a pleasant porch with a dining area, barbecue and garden furniture.

Also inside the patio there is an independent studio available to clients with a loft bed, sofa bed, small gym, bathroom with shower, breakfast area with refrigerator and microwave, heating and fireplace. The extra beds can go here instead of in the house if they wish, consulting with the property.

The house has heating in all rooms. There is also free internet and wifi access. The beds are fully dressed and a bath towel and another toilet towel are left for each client.

Ochando is a village surrounded by fields, pine forests and oak forests. Very close to the house there are two natural ponds with swans, geese, wild ducks and many other water birds.

It is a perfect place forhiking or cycling routes. It is common to see roe deer, wild boars and many rabbits and hares.

Three kilometers away isSanta María La Real de Nieva, with a wonderful Gothic cloister. TheMadrid Camino de Santiago and the Greenway pass through here.It has a supermarket, pharmacy, ATM, medical emergency room, bars and two restaurants where you can eat or order takeout.

In Domingo García, a nearby town, you can see petroglyphs, Paleolithic engravings on slate. Also near Ochando, in Migueláñez, is the Old Chocolate Factory, now a museum and where they organize different activities.

About 30 kilometers away is Segovia, where, in addition to the aqueduct, you can visit the Alcázar or stroll through the Jewish quarter or the wonderful Alameda de la Fuencisla; Coca with a Mudejar Gothic castle or Arévalo.
