Casa Rural El Pajar

The rural house El Pajar is built in the Navarrese town of Orísain, an area known as the Valdorba Valley. It is structured in 2 floors, and available to accommodate 4 people.

The entire house has brick walls and beams on the ceiling. Many of the details of the house are made of wood, which gives it a more rustic touch, and the radiators are made of cast iron.

The rooms on the ground floor of the house are: a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen and a leisure room.
In the living room what stands out the most is a wood-burning fireplace. But we cannot leave aside the coffee table between the sofas, a table for 4 people and 2 large windows.

The kitchen is furnished. In its center it also has a table for 4 people, and has modern appliances such as: dryer, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, extractor hood, refrigerator and ceramic hob. There are also small household appliances such as: blender, microwave and coffee maker. We leave kitchenware anddishes at your disposal.

The bathroom on this floor is complete.

The games room communicates with the porch, and has a foosball table and a wicker armchair.

Already at the top we have 2 bedrooms, each with its private bathroom.

The two bedrooms are doubles. One of them has a double bed. And the other has 2 single beds that can be put together and hooked through the mattress to become another double bed.  We left sheets, blankets and quilts for both beds.

The bathrooms, as I said, are in the rooms. Both are complete, but one of them has a hydrosauna. We leave towels, mat and hair dryer at your disposal.

Outside we find 2 porches and a garden.

The garden has a pond with goldfish in the center, and is planted with flowers and trees.

One of the porches has living room furniture that can be used to eat in good weather or to relax, and with access to the games room.

Near the house, without being dependent on it, is the other porch. Here we find a grill and a wood oven that works as a barbecue. When placed inside the porch, it can be used all year round.

Rural house equipment:

• Firewood for the living room fireplace during the winter and for the barbecue or wood oven
• Possibility of putting a crib in the rooms, but it must be notified when booking.
• Wi-Fi throughout the house
• Board games for all ages
• Air conditioning and heating throughout the house with cast iron radiators
• Possibility of having television in the rooms, but you have to request it when booking

The rural house is 35km from Pamplona.

One of the places of interest is the Valdorba Ecomuseum, which shows how people worked in ancient times and how work was carried out.

There are numerous trails where we can find mushrooms and fungi.

As the town is located in the Valdorba Valley you can visit its many secrets and see places such as a truffle farm, a crypt or a granary.

In the surroundings is the Monte de San Pelayo, where bee hives abound and honey is made.
