Casa Rural Couto Mixto

Located in a small village in Ourense, on the border with the Portuguese border, our rural house is located.

It is a large bicentennial house completely renovated that maintains its old stone structure and incorporates modern elements for the maximum comfort of the guest The entire house hasunderfloor heatingand the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 24 people.

In addition, and as a novelty, we have created a health, leisure and well-being space, a Spa that occupies an entire floor of the house where our guests can enjoy anindoor pool heated to about 27 +-2 degrees and hydrotherapy treatments with several water beds, walls of Jets, Duck Neck, Waterfall, water and air volcanoes and alarge jacuzzi.

TheSpa house has 4 rooms in total distributed throughout the entire accommodation. The rural house has 8 double bedrooms, some with a double bed and others with 2 single beds. All double rooms have their own bathroom, plus several common toilets. There is the possibility of adding extra beds and a crib.

The accommodation has a large garden area around it and has 4 different living rooms equipped with sofas, ideal for the guest to rest. Its stone walls and fireplace give the room a very rustic, warm and cozy atmosphere. A spacious kitchen with an island in the middle and space to store dishes. There is also a large dining room available for more than 20 people.

This rural house is located in the Galician municipality of Baltar, between 1860), next to the Peneda-Geres-Xurés Biosphere Reserve Natural Park. 


Another recommended destination is Ourense, the provincial capital of great cultural interest, where its Roman bridge, the hot springs and the Massif Central stand out. You can visit nearby towns such as Xinzo, Verín, Celanova, Bande, Lobios, Allariz... The guest can also cross the border, very close to the town, and visit some places in Portugal, such as Montalegre.

Within a 90-minute radius you can be on the beach of Vigo, Bayona, Santiago de Compostela, and in Portugal, Chaves, Vidago, Ponte de Lima, Ponte da Barca, Braga or Oporto.
