Description of Casa Rural Couto Mixto
Located in a small Orense village, on the border with the Portuguese border, our rural house is located.
It is a large, fully restored bicentennial house that maintains its old stone structure and incorporates modern elements for the maximum comfort of the guest. In addition, and as a novelty, we have created a space for health, leisure and well-being, a Spa that occupies an entire floor of the house where our guests can enjoy an indoor pool heated to about 27 + -2 degrees hydrotherapy treatments with several water beds, walls of jets, duck neck, waterfall, water and air volcanoes and a large Jacuzzi. La Casa Spa has 4 rooms in total distributed throughout the entire accommodation. The country house has 8 double bedrooms s, some with a double bed and others with 2 single beds. All double rooms have own bathroom, plus several common toilets. It is possible to add extra beds and cot.
The accommodation has around a large landscaped land and has 4 different rooms equipped with sofas, ideal for the guest's rest. Its stone walls and its fireplace give the room a very rustic, warm and cozy atmosphere. A spacious kitchen with a island in the middle and space to store crockery. There is also a large dining room available for more than 20 people.

This rural house is located in the Galician municipality of Baltar, between Xinzo de Limia and Verin just on the border with Portugal ( Montalegre, Chaves, Vidago ), in a "Mixed Couto" republic between two kingdoms, a place full of historical and cultural singularities (republic between the twelfth century and 1860), next to the Peneda-Geres-Xurés Biosphere Reserve Natural Park.
Another recommended destination is Ourense, capital of the province of great cultural interest, where the Roman bridge, the hot springs or the Massif Centra l stand out. You can visit nearby towns such as Xinzo, Verín, Celanova, Bande, Lobios, Allariz .. The guest can also cross the border, very close to the town, and visit some places in Portugal, such as Montalegre.
