Description of Casa Rural Arrizurieta Landetxea
This Basque farmhouse is located in the village of Bermeo next to the Urdabai natural park. It is standing from 1858 and it is currently completely restored.
Both the rooms and the exterior of the Caserío follow the traditional aesthetic of the area with a construction made of stones and wood obtained from the quarries and forests of the surroundings.
This house also provides an additional attraction, since it is respectful with the environment and its main source of heat and energy is obtained from the solar panels installed in the house.
The house has 7 rooms double equipped to offer the best rest. 2 of the rooms have terrace and another has balcony. From all of them we can enjoy the different landscapes offered by this enclave, from the mountains that surround the house, to the Cantabrian Sea. They have their own bathroom and toiletries included for free.
Each of the rooms has something special since inspired s in the different parts of interest of the villa area of Bermeo.
In the common areas we offer Wifi, library, board games for the most unpleasant days, kitchen for exclusive use for the customers of the house, general heating y for the rooms and a fireplace to give a more homelike touch to the estancia.
The comedo r is equipped with 7 tables, one for each room and is decorated with care taking care of the aesthetics of the Txocos vascos.
Outside we have a terrace solarium, garden and recreation area, free parking area and tables for lunch at the foot of a large oak centennial.

Bego Mentxaka. I have been working in rural tourism for 10 years and learning from my colleagues in the area as well as the guests who stay in our house.
We strive to offer the best of ourselves and our surroundings, participating in different projects through which we advise and enrich.
We are part of the group of ecological accommodation certified by the Basque Government, as well as quality programs and technological innovation.
I like the direct deal with the travelers, exchange experiences, show the points of touristic interest of our area and how to access depending on the particular characteristics of each one.
In short, I like to enjoy with people who come to our wonderful town.
What the owner pinpoints on the property
What stands out most in this establishment is the landscape, the contrast between sea and mountains, our location close to the nearby points of interest such as Bermeo, Gaztelugatxe, Uradaibai, Bakio, Mundaka, Bilbao, airport ...
We are also a sustainable rural house, committed to the environment, we install solar panels, thermal and photovoltaic. We pay special attention to the recycling of waste and the use of light, heating and water without sacrificing comfort to our accommodation. We try to impact as little as possible in our environment by taking care of the type of products we use for cleaning and disinfection.
We are surrounded by nature and we are accompanied by some pets accustomed to the good treatment of our guests.

We have access in a radius of 30km to the most picturesque places of our Vizcaina geography.
The closest, 7-10 km: Bermeo, Gaztelugatxe, Urdaibai, Mundaka and Bakio. In 14-20km we arrive at Gernika, Bosque de Oma, Cuevas de Santimamiñe, Elantxobe .... and from 30m we arrive at Lekeitio or Bilbao.
Walks to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Cape Matxitxako, Bermeo or Mundaka, as well as to the Urdaibai river from Bermeo, along the seafront of Bakio, Oma forest, San Miguel de Ereñozar, San Pedro de Atxarre ...
There is a wide diversity of activities to do related to the sea, the river and the marsh such as, horseback riding, bajads down the river by kayak, bike rides, boat trips, surf courses, paddle surfing ...
The cultural richness of our environment is also known, from the art of our churches, our monuments, museums, caves, sculptures ... to name a few, the Gernika tree and its House of Meetings, the Gothic churches in Bermeo, Lekeitio, etc.
We have around some historical Roman settlements that can be visited guided both in Sollube and in Forua, near Gernika.
