Casa Finca El Cerro

The house is located in the municipality of Selaya, Cantabria, between the Pisueña and Campillo rivers.

This rural accommodation has capacity for 17 people divided into 7 double rooms.

The façade of this building is made up of native oak and stone that comes from “La Pedrosa”, a characteristic feature of buildings in the area.

Outside we have a large garden area where we can enjoy the landscape. We also have a stone barbecue and 3 beautiful wooden porches equipped to accommodate a large group where you can enjoy entertainment.

Inside we have the kitchen, the dining room and the living room in the same room. It is decorated with wooden beams and stone for its walls.

• The kitchen is American style decorated with dark wood and brick countertops. It is fully equipped with appliances so it will be very easy to start cooking.

• The dining room has a wooden table to enjoy the banquets we cook.

• The living room is equipped with armchairs around the wood-burning fireplace. Here we can relax while watching television.

The rooms are double. It has 6 double rooms and a room with bunk beds. They are decorated with bright colors on their walls with stone details and wooden windows.

• It has three full bathrooms to share. Hair dryer in each bathroom.

Selaya stands out for its gastronomy. Known throughout the region are sobao pasiego and quesada pasiega.

In the town we can see monuments of cultural interest such as the Cubes of the municipal area and heraldic roll. Museum of the breeders, and several museums and points of interest.

We can also enjoy the landscape of the area accompanying the waters of the Campillo River and delight ourselves when its waters join the Pisueña River. There are several bathing areas, both in the Campillo River and in the Pisueña River. We also have municipal swimming pools 4km from the house.
