Casa de Graña da Acea

The house is located within the Fragas do Eume de Monfero Natural Park, in A Coruña. Everything that surrounds the house is nature with a river, mountains, meadows and a large green valley.

It is an isolated house in the mountains built in the 17th century but currently completely renovated. It has 9 rooms:

• 6 standard
• 3 specials

Standard rooms can have a double bed or 2 single beds. The beds are dressed and have their pillows. The decoration is rural style, they have a large wooden wardrobe and the bedside tables come with their lamp. The colors of the walls are bright blues, pinks and pastels; which contrasts with the dark woods of the furniture.

Inside the rooms there is also a wooden table with an armchair included. They all have a full bathroom with toiletries included. An extra bed can be added to the rooms at the guest's request.

The special rooms are the largest in the accommodation, they have stone walls respecting the first construction and have views of the forests and valleys that surround the place. The bed is a double bed and guests have the possibility of renting an extra bed. The beds come dressed and with their pillow menu.

They have a small living room with 2 armchairs from the 50s and a very charming coffee table. They also have their own private bathroom.

In the hotel we can find several lounges, one of them with a fireplace. They are warm spaces like the rest of the hotel, since it has heating in all rooms. In the living rooms there are enough sofas, armchairs and armchairs to feel comfortable at all times. All accommodation hasinternet access.

The dining room is spacious andwe serve mealswith products made in the area.

The accommodation is located Parque Natural Fragas do Eume in A Coruña, in the town of Monfero, A Coruña.  This park is located on the banks of the Eume River, a place with great biodiversity where oaks, the most common tree, coexist with a great variety of plants.

Thanks to its humid climate and in certain dark areas, you can see a wide variety of amphibians throughout the park. This can be explored on foot or by mountain bike. The location is privileged because theGalician coast is about half an hour away by car. There you can do a wide variety of water activities or simply enjoy the water. 

In Monfero it is located in an impressive Monastery, whose origins date back to the 10th century. Some historic towns such as Pontedeume or Betanzos are very close. Furthermore, access to large cities such as Lugo, Santiago or La Coruña is easy.
