Description of Casa de Baixo
Rural house with a special charm in the area of Saa, within the limits of Lugo.
Each stay has been taken care of in detail and for that the house has been completely restored.
The building, formed by 2 floors, is made of stone and is surrounded by a wooded area.
The house is composed of 6 rooms.
5 of them are in part above. All painted and decorated differently, some more sober than another, to which we have given a more cheerful touch. The beds are, except 2 of the rooms has 2 single beds.
The furniture is rescued and restored by ourselves. In the lower part of the house we have a room that is fully adapted for people with reduced mobility or who need to use a wheelchair. All rooms have their own bathroom inside.
The common space of the house we call fourth "da Ana" y is the living room. Decorated with bright colors, it is the meeting place of all tenants. It has two sofas around a table and porcelain figures that are exposed by different corners.
In the house we have 2 dining rooms, one of them has a great fireplace that in winter is the delight of all who visit us.
Both places are distributed throughout the house and our guests can enjoy the typical products of the area that we try to be as ecological possible. We have a cook who makes their dishes taking into account the smallest detail; It is the traditional "economic kitchen".
Casa de Baixo has some of nature's surroundings that invite relaxation and disconnection. We are surrounded by trees, animals and a small stream that make our house undoubtedly a cozy and familiar space.
