Our accommodation in the town of Ochagavia was built in the 16th century and a few years ago we decided to restore it to turn it into the wonderful house that it is today and that will welcome you as if it were your own home.

What is most striking about this beautiful place is its exterior, both inside the house and beyond. We are in the middle of the Irati forest and this gives the area spectacular beauty. A beauty that you can see reflected in the beautiful garden we have. It has a picnic area, a barbecue and a playground. In this way we ensure that both adults and children are always entertained and enjoying the holidays.

Once inside the house, the first thing we find is a hall in the purest rural style with its stone floors, benches and other details that make you enter another world. Next, the rest of the house is decorated in a more modern way, but maintaining its own style.

The kitchen has wooden furniture that inside houses appliances and houseware enough so that you can prepare a real delicacy for your meals. There is also a large window through which a lot of light comes in and if you take advantage of the little table we have there, your meals will have excellent views.

The living room has large red sofas that stand out along with the fireplace. In the heat of it, the whole family can watch a movie on the television or chat and play all the board games we have for you.

On the first floor of the house there is a bedroom with a private bathroom. This is the main room that has peach-painted walls that contrast perfectly with the sheets and blankets that we have provided for the bed. In the bathroom you will also find a set of towels.

On the upper floor of the house, which is attic, are the remaining 2 rooms. These are 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each. Thanks to their location, they have 2 huge windows through which the morning rays create a luxurious atmosphere in the room.  The beds are also ready so that you only have to take care of resting.

Ochagavia is located in the Salazar Valley and is a town with a special charm in every corner. Walking through its streets you will reach the Our Lady of Muskilda hermitage, the building in the valley stands out a lot, it is from the 12th century and in Romanesque style.  In the town you will also find the Church of San Juan Evangelista, it is from medieval times.

If we approach the Sierra de Leyre, we are going to discover two beautiful monuments. On the one hand, the one created by man, it is the Leyre Monastery and it is one of the most beautiful Romanesque buildings. Large in size, its entire structure stands out. On the other hand we have the monument created by nature, we talk about the Lumbier Gorge.  The Irati River has been responsible for creating this great canyon that will leave you with your mouth open as soon as you see it.

And continuing with the Irati River, it is also worth highlighting the jungle that surrounds it. It is one of the largest forests in Europe and is in an excellent state of conservation. It is totally protected but it has areas that you can access and through Ochagavia you can do it perfectly by following the indicated routes.
