Our accommodation in the town of Ochagavia was built in the sixteenth century and a few years ago we decided to restore it to become the wonderful house that it is today and that will welcome you as if it were your own home.

What is striking about this beautiful place is its exterior, both that of the house and beyond. We are in full forest Irati and this gives the area a spectacular beauty. A beauty that you can see reflected in the beautiful garden that we have. It has a picnic area, a barbecue and a playground. In this way we get both the elderly and the little ones to be always entertained and enjoying the holidays.

Already inside the house, the first thing we find is a hall in the purest rural style with its stone floors, benches and other details that make you enter another world. Then the rest of the house is decorated in a more modern way, but retaining the own style.

The kitchen has a wooden furniture that inside house appliances and menaje suficiente so that you can prepare a real delicacy in the meals. In addition there is a large window through which a lot of light comes in and if you take advantage of the small table that we have there, your meals will be with excellent views.

The lounge has large red sofas that stand out along with the fireplace. In the heat of it, the whole family can watch a movie on the TV or chat and play with all the board games we have for you.

On the first floor of the house there is a bedroom with private bathroom. It is the main room that has peach-colored walls that contrast perfectly with the sheets and blankets that we have enabled for the bed. In the bathroom you will also find a set of towels.

In the upper floor of the house, which is attic, are the 2 remaining rooms. This is 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each. Thanks to its location, they have 2 huge windows through which the morning rays create a luxurious atmosphere in the room. The beds are also ready so you just have to take care of your rest.

No doubt a very familiar accommodation that will give you everything you need during this period. If you are looking for tranquility, disconnection and knowing a different place, here you have it all.

Ochagavia is located in the Valley of Salazar and is a town with a special charm in all corners. Walking through its streets you will arrive to the hermitage Nuestra Señora de Muskilda, the building stands out very much in the valley, it is from the XII century and in Romanesque style. In the village you will also find the church of San Juan Evangelista, it is from the medieval era.

If we approach the Sierra de Leyre, we will discover two beautiful monuments. On the one hand created by man, it is the Monastery of Leyre y is one of the most beautiful Romanesque buildings. Large in size, its entire structure stands out. On the other hand we have the monument created by nature, we talk about the Foz de Lumbier. The Irati River has been responsible for creating this great canyon that just seeing it will leave you with your mouth open.

And following with the Irati river, it is also worth mentioning the jungle that surrounds it. It is one of the largest forests in Europe and is in an excellent state of conservation. It is fully protected but has areas that you can access and Ochagavia can do it perfectly following the routes indicated.
