La Casita del Escorial

If you are looking for an intimate corner in the Madrid mountains... here you have it!

It is located in the municipality of El Escorial, in Colonia España, although by distance, our apartment for two people is closer to the town of Collado Villalba.

It is located on a large plot, part of which is landscaped and which, during the summer, includes a wonderful removable pool to take a dip.
In addition, you can prepare a barbecue and sit down to eat on the terrace, in front of the apartment entrance.

Inside, we find a practically open-plan room, where we distinguish these environments:

• The living room, with a comfortable sofa, flat-screen television and air conditioning for the hottest nights. This area becomes the resting space by simply unfolding the bed that hides the sofa.

• The dining room, with a table with a couple of chairs, is located under the window, so you can contemplate the landscape at meal time.

• The kitchen is open, and although modest in size, it is perfectly equipped with the essential appliances, kitchenware and utensils for cooking during your stay.

• The bathroom is the only separate room, and has a glass shower cabin where you can wash yourself daily.

Pets are not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation.

The place where we are located is ideal for getting to know the most outstanding towns and corners of the Sierra de Guadarrama, such as:

• Guadarrama, with its old town, where the Plaza del Ayuntamiento stands out.

• San Lorenzo de El Escorial, where you can visit the impressive Monastery.

• Silla de Felipe II, a natural space with apanoramic view over the monastery.

• Cercedilla, a town where you can visit its historic center or, if you prefer nature, explore its varied paths in the surrounding area.
