Description of Castro de Villaosende
Our X rural house is located at Santalla, province of Lugo.
It has been recently reformed but it has been tried to maintain the essence and certain characteristics of the old house.
The house has 3 floors and in each of them has been built an apartment.
The apartments, each maintaining different styles, have the following features:
The house has a outside muy beautiful headed by a green and large garden. You can walk around it and the little ones can run freely without worries as the enclosure is completely closed.
Outside the house there is also a picnic, which has fully respected the facade, and inside have prepared wooden tables and chairs to enjoy it. A barbecue of work, of perfect stone, is also in the picnic.
Access to the house is very simple because it is paved and also has its own parking, so you will be able to control your vehicle and make use of it whenever you need it.

Santalla is the largest apartment we have in the entire house. It has a large kitchen that allows to have a wooden dining table in one of the corners. All appliances are along the countertop that plays with white and wood colors.
The lounge and comed or is quite luminous. With several sofas in reddish tones, behind them there is an elongated wooden table so you can also eat there if you prefer.
3 rooms with double bed and one double room with 2 single beds. Always providing many colors and details that make each room something different. We provide the sheets and blankets ourselves.

Sourroundings of Castro de Villaosende
Santalla has the privilege of being between the sea and the mountain which gives the possibility of being able to make tourism in many different ways. Close to the Ría de Ribadeo, where the Eo river empties, it is an area very rich in nature. Precisely in Ribadeo, we can visit the Beach As Catedrais, spectacular for the rocky shapes that the sea itself has been forming.
A short distance from our house we also have several places that we can meet, as is the case Los Hornos de Calcinación de Vilaoudriz, are the remains of what used to be a mine. There is a total of 5 and they are kept as an emblem of something that was very important around the year 1900.
Mondoñedo is another very close municipality that has a 13th century cathedral and whose Romanesque door is perfectly preserved. In addition, the Camino de Santiago passes through this place and during the tour you can enjoy the views offered by the slab roofs of all their homes that have a very characteristic end in peak to protect the wind.
