Casa de Amancio

This rural house is located on the Camino de Santiago and, specifically, as it passes through the center of Lavacolla belonging to the parish of Sabugueira in the Galician province of La Coruña and just a few kilometers from the capital. 

The house is rented per room and has a maximum capacity of 25 people.

• Adouble bed. 

• 2 single beds that can be together or separated. 

It should be noted that one of the rooms isadapted for people with reduced mobility. As for the rooms, all beds will be equipped with the sheets and blankets you need to avoid getting cold in these lands. In addition, they will have a built-in wardrobe and side tables where you can leave your belongings. 

As for the interior of each apartment, in addition to having a room, it will have:

• A living room where you can relax from the sofa while enjoying your favorite programs on television. 

• A private bathroom that will come equipped with a shower tray and towels. 

• All rooms have, so that you feel at home, heating and wifi. 

As for the interior of the house it has:

• A hall with rustic decoration where you can get information on any aspect you need. 

• A large dining room where an open buffet is served for breakfast as well as the best Galician lunches and dinners. 

• The upper part of it has a living room that is complemented by the remaining 2 that are in the house and that have a fireplace, television and comfortable sofas. 

It will be an ideal place to stay with your partner or a friend and rest after having completed a large part of this historic route that will fascinate you, as will the house that will have everything you need. 

In the Galician region of La Coruña, where the capital of the province is located, we find the Sabugueira parish. In one of its centers, Lavacolla, is this fantastic rural house perfect for staying in and resting during the last stage of the Camino de Santiago. It is said that this area receives its name from being the place where pilgrims took advantage of the river waters to bathe before reaching the capital. Its surroundings are fantastic to marvel at:

• A church that belongs to the year 1840. The skylight in it gives it a wonderful light that complements perfectly with the bell tower. 

• There is a route that lasts almost 3 hours and is suitable for all people. In it you will be able to discover a landscape environment that will amaze you while you observe typical areas of the place. 

• 20 minutes away you will find the capital, Santiago de Compostela, which is wonderful for discovering an architecture that will fascinate you and that has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. 

• The octopus, the turnip green broth, the empanada or the Compostela cake are just some of the typical dishes with which you will not be able to stop delighting your palate. 

It is a perfect place to marvel at the beauty of its surroundings in a magical natural environment. The Camino de Santiago, the hermitages and the routes are ideal to get tired and then recharge your strength with the best gastronomy.
