Elizondo is a Navarrean town of 3,194 inhabitants that is located in the area of ​​Pamplona, in the north of Navarra. These houses and their different styles make this little town a curious place worth seeing.

Elizondo is located in the heart of the Baztán Valley, sandwiched between the Pyrenean mountains and full of meadows on the plains, beech forests in the mountains, chestnut groves on the slopes, oak groves at the foot of the mountains and alder groves next to the rivers. This valley is home to creatures such as the coypu, a mammal with characteristics similar to those of the beaver that is native to South America.

Near this area you can visit the Urdax Caves, a true geological spectacle of stalactites and stalagmites that have been carved over the centuries by the Urtxume River. This river still circulates through the cave forming lakes that are worth contemplating.
